Generating power onsite with Capstone microturbines helps commercial and industrial facilities reduce energy costs, maximize efficiency and reduce emissions.
This video animation shows how Capstone microturbines can be used in commercial and industrial applications to provide electricity heating, and/or cooling to maximize efficiency, reduce costs and improve reliability.
Case Studies
Ronald Regan Presidential Library
The Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California gets nearly all its electricity from 16 Capstone microturbines. The CHP system, which also uses the microturbines’ waste-heat energy to produce cold water for air conditioning and hot water for heating, is 85% – 90% efficient.
Six Capstone CapstoneC65 MicroTurbines® provide electricity, heating and cooling at FDS Manufacturing Company, a 240,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Pomona, California.
Using Capstone Turbines has allowed FDS to significantly lower the facility’s carbon footprint and energy bill.
